Montana Kitchens is pleased to announce the completion of a fabulous contemporary kitchen design and installation in St Albans Hertfordshire. The client is a banking professional who is a returning customer. We first installed a kitchen for this client eight years ago in Hampstead. Having moved, the client enlisted our services for his contemporary kitchen design and installation in St Albans Hertfordshire. The kitchen design and installation were undertaken by Montana Kitchens with the project being in the £20-25K budget range.

Angie Montana, owner of Montana Kitchen says, “This is an amazing example of a truly bespoke kitchen design and installation service taking an open plan kitchen from good to wow! When we visited the home, we highlighted that due to the positioning of one particular wall, a solution was necessary to knock the wall back to make a larger area, and thus drawing your eye to a clever storage solution and to ‘house in’ the customers’ own Fisher & Paykall American Fridge/Freezer and including a larder. The bespoke partition wall worked well, and we ensured that this part of the kitchen was a perfect design for the space.”

Angie continues, “the central kitchen Island was of importance to our customer, they wanted it to be the social heart of the open-plan kitchen and dining space.  The quartz worktop on the Island worked beautifully with the rest of the house yet defined the space as the customer’s garden was brought into the home when the bi-folds doors were open.”

The client bought a Schuller Kitchen which is a German brand. The modern kitchen cabinets are in a Steel Bronze with a Matt Lacquer Effect. The kitchen appliances are all made by Bosch, another German company with a first-class reputation. The kitchen worktop was made from Statuario Polished 20mm Quartz. Montana Kitchens arranged for builders to remove a small wall, they were also commissioned to carry out building works including plumbing, electrics and decoration. Our team fitted the kitchen and appliances. The worktop was installed by The Marble Group from Welham Green.
